God’s Glory – All His Goodness

“and it will come about, while My glory is passing by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by”.

-God (Exodus 33:22)

 

Context

This is a direct answer to Moses’ prayer to God. ‘I pray You, show me Your glory’ in Exodus 33:18. Then God answers, giving Moses the what, where, and how in just a few verses.

 

Thoughts

Show me often translates to what a person can see with their eyes. God answered Moses that “I Myself (God) will make all My goodness pass before you (Moses), and will proclaim the name of the LORD before you;…”

 

I think in this context God’s glory is all His goodness, not part of it or a representation of it, but all! Do you think God shows His goodness today? If yes, in what ways?
