Glory of the LORD – In the Morning

“…and in the morning you will see the glory of the LORD,

for He hears your grumblings against the LORD;

and what are we, that you grumble against us?”

-Moses and Aaron (Exodus 16:7)

Context

On the 15th day of the second month after leaving Egypt (45 days later?!) all the congregation of the sons of Israel were walking in the wilderness and grumbling.

God gave instruction to Moses regarding their grumblings of hunger that He will rain bread from heaven and they are to gather a day’s portion every day, “that I may test them, whether or not they will walk in My instruction”.

Thoughts

I think this glory is favor – supernatural provision. Can you imagine what a sight that would be every day? Then add the senses of touch, taste, and smell of the bread!

What does this kind of supernatural provision look like today?
