Glory of the LORD – Appears (2)

“Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting. When they came out and blessed the people, the glory of the LORD appeared to all the people.”

-Moses (Leviticus 9:23)

Context

Aaron had completed all of the offerings as instructed before he and Moses went into the tent of meeting. After they came out, Leviticus 9:24 says, “Then fire came out from before the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the portions of fat on the altar; and when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.”

Thoughts

In Aaron’s obedience to carry out the priest responsibilities for the first time, I think God made it clear to all the people that He was with Aaron. What do you think God’s glory looked like in this verse to all the people?
